Day 1: Arrival + Settle into Your Mountain Town
- Stay in: Bryson City, Sylva, Maggie Valley, or Waynesville
- Vibe: Cute small towns, mountain views, and cozy cabin feels.
- Evening: Check into your cabin or rental, grab dinner at a local spot (try Frogs Leap Public House in Waynesville or The Bistro at the Everett in Bryson City), and get ready for an epic week.

Day 2: Pontoon + Tubing Day on Nantahala Lake
- Morning: Rent a pontoon boat at Lakes End Marina and spend the day cruising Nantahala Lake. Bring a cooler, sunblock, snacks, and towels.
- Midday: Anchor and go tubing behind the boat or stop for a swim.
- Afternoon: Wind down with a peaceful kayak paddle in one of the quiet coves.
- Evening: Cook dinner at your rental or head to Lakes End Café & Grill for a relaxed lakeside meal.

Day 3: Lake Junaluska + Paddle Sports
- Morning: Head to Lake Junaluska for paddle boarding and canoeing. The calm, scenic water makes it perfect for families and beginners.
- Lunch: Stop in Waynesville for lunch at The Sweet Onion or a coffee from Panacea Coffee Company.
- Afternoon: Explore nearby downtown shops or hit a short trail near the lake.
- Evening: Return to your rental and relax under the stars or with a fire pit.
Day 4: Clingmans Dome Hike & Mountain Views
- Morning: Drive through the Smokies to Clingmans Dome—it’s the highest point in the park with a short (but steep) hike and unforgettable views.
- Picnic Lunch: Pack a picnic to enjoy at one of the scenic pull-offs.
- Afternoon: Optional light hike or scenic drive along Newfound Gap Road.
- Evening: Return to town, grab dinner, and take it easy after a big view day.

Day 5: Tuckasegee River Rafting (Beginner-Friendly)
- Morning: Go white water rafting on the Tuckasegee River—it’s a great warm-up with gentle rapids and beautiful scenery.
- Afternoon: Dry off and enjoy a brewery stop—check out Innovation Brewing in Sylva or Mountain Layers Brewing in Bryson City.
- Evening: Chill with some local BBQ or comfort food.

Day 6: Adventure Day – Nantahala River White Water Rafting
- Morning to Afternoon: Time to level up your rafting! Head to the Nantahala Outdoor Center for Class III–V white water rafting through gorges and fast-flowing water.
- Lunch: Grab a bite riverside at River’s End Restaurant.
- Evening: You’ll be wiped (in the best way)—take a hot shower, then rest and recover.

Day 7: Day Trip to Pigeon Forge + Mountain Coaster
- Morning: Head to Pigeon Forge, TN (1.5–2 hrs drive). Stop for a snack along the way.
- Midday: Ride the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster or try one of the other coasters for a fast, fun mountain thrill.
- Afternoon: Explore town or visit nearby Gatlinburg for views, shopping, or lunch at The Local Goat.
- Evening: Return to North Carolina with a car full of giggles and mountain memories.
Day 8: Departure Day – One Last Morning View
- Morning: Enjoy coffee on your cabin porch, take a short walk nearby, or squeeze in one last peaceful lake view.
- Optional: Stop in Dillsboro or Cherokee for a final bite or souvenir before heading home.
